Direct-to-Garment (DTG) is a high-resolution printing method where designs are printed directly onto the fabric using specialized DTG printers and water-based inks. Acting like a digital squeegee, the ink is pushed into the fibers rather than sitting on top, allowing the print to absorb naturally into the garment. This results in soft, breathable prints with vibrant color and detail that feel more like traditional screen printing, not a thick or plastic coating.
While DTG excels with full-color CMYK artwork, specialty effects such as metallic inks, puff ink, and glitter accents can also be incorporated to add texture, dimension, and visual impact when desired.
